Trio Vintners is a partnership between three Walla Walla winemakers; Tim Boushey, Denise Slattery and Steve Michener. Each brings a unique perspective and skill set to the winemaking process and they are pooling their collective talents to create food-friendly wines from small lot production using premium grapes grown throughout Eastern Washington.
In 2007, Trio Vintners crushed over 26 tons of fruit including Syrah, Riesling, Sangiovese, Mourvèdre, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, Carmenere, and Zinfandel. Perhaps by coincidence (or not!) they are staying close to their chosen theme of ‘three’ by producing reds, whites and rose. Their winery and tasting room is located in one of the ‘incubator’ wineries at the Walla Walla regional airport and is open weekends, March through December from 11 – 4 pm and by appointment. |
